Location of Web Services and Human readable Documentation

  1. Web Services servers
All Web Services are available through the server at: https://ws1.webservices.nl.

In order to ensure high availability of services there is also a second server. This server is intended only as a backup server in case the main server can not be reached and should not be used when the main server is up and running.

Software that makes use of our Web Services should connect to the backup server only when it is determined that the main server is offline.

Apart from Accounting services, all services are available on the backup server.
The location of the backup server is: https://ws2.webservices.nl

    Location of Accounting webinterface
There is an interface to facilitate accounting tasks, which can be found at
    https://ws1.webservices.nl/webview

Location of General Web Services WSDL
The WSDL and endpoint containing all available SOAP methods.
    https://ws1.webservices.nl/soap?wsdl

Location of Dedicated Web Services WSDL's
To reduce the SOAP client footprint, a dedicated WSDL and endpoint is available for each webservice section.

Location of General Web Services WSDL without headers
This WSDL contains simplified SOAP methods that do not require SOAP headers for authentication, but instead prefix all SOAP methods with a reactid authentication token.
https://ws1.webservices.nl/soapnoheaders?wsdl Location of Dedicated Web Services WSDL's without headers
To reduce the SOAP client footprint, a dedicated WSDL and endpoint is available for each webservice section.

    Frequently Asked Question:
"I get the error 'requested method X does not exist.' and I'm sure I got the name of method X correctly, what should I do?"
Check which WSDL url you use. If it's one of the dedicated WSDL's listed above, make sure that method X belongs to the service group. If it doesn't, change the url the general form, or to the appropriate dedicated endpoint.

    Documentation
Human readable documentation, derived from the WSDL files, can be found by
omitting the '?wsdl' part of any of the above URLs. On this documentation pages you can navigate to different endpoint and dedicated groups.
